GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Private courses
- No registration fees are payable.
- Course materials are proposed to participants during the first lesson and are included in the cost of the course.
- Course participants must arrive for lessons on time and with the material necessary for their meeting with the teacher.
- Individual lessons may be cancelled at no charge with 24 hours’ notice. Students may catch up the lesson in any case.
- It is not possible to catch up semi-individual and group lessons. Any lessons missed will be charged.
- Students withdrawing from courses which have already started are not entitled to refunds, either for irregular attendance or abandonment of courses.
- For group courses, failure to reach the minimum number of enrolments within the set deadline will result in the course being cancelled or, if both parties so desire, a semi-individual course at a reduced cost being offered. In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified promptly by whatever means possible.
- Certificates of attendance are always issued at no charge upon completion of the course.
- Certificates of attainment of the target level are always issued at no charge to participants, subject to their passing an end-of-course exam.
Payment terms are agreed on a personalized basis.
- Enrolment on any course implies that the terms and conditions set out above have been read and accepted.
Company courses
- No registration fees are payable.
- An assessment test is arranged directly by the teacher at the company on a date to be agreed before the beginning of the course. The cost of the test, which is administered during the initial meeting with the teacher, is the same as the cost of the lesson.
- The study plan is drawn up by the teacher after evaluating the tests and is presented to the course participants during the first lesson.
- Course materials are proposed to participants during the first lesson and are included in the cost of the course.
- Lessons cancelled with 24 hours’ notice are not charged. Participants may catch up the lesson at a future date, to be agreed with the teacher.
- The company may decide to interrupt the course for reasons beyond its control – which nevertheless must be documented – without incurring extra charges. The principle set out above, that lessons are charged if cancelled on day they are scheduled, applies.
